Accreditation
Radiation Oncology Associates is accredited by American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO), the American College of Surgeons (ACOS), and most recently the American College of Radiology (ACR)-American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).
Being accredited by these independent professional organizations means that our facilities, staff and doctors have undergone rigorous review for expertise, competence, safety and other qualifications that are befitting of the nation’s very best treatment facilities.

History
Radiation Oncology Associates was founded in 1983 by Dr. John N. Crawford and Dr. Deepchand Bajpai, bringing professional radiation oncology health care services to Northeast Indiana.
The practice continued to grow with the addition of Dr. R. Prasad Mantravadi in 1983, Dr. John Trenkner in 1984, Dr. James Gates in 1985, Dr. David Trenkner in 1986, Dr. Xiao Lin in 2002 and Dr. Brian Chang in 2007. All of our physicians are board certified radiation oncologists with experience and specialization in a wide range of radiation oncology treatment areas.
Our physicians have staff privileges at several local and surrounding hospitals including Parkview Hospital, Lutheran Hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, Caylor Nickel Clinic, Cameron Hospital, Wabash County Hospital, VA Hospital, Kosciusko Community Hospital, and Paul & Kathryn Strickler Cancer Institute.
